Beginner & Intermediate Training Programs
Have you dreamt of being a half marathon runner but weren't sure you could do it? You absolutely can!
We've joined with Active at Altitude to be the official half marathon training partner of Vacation Races. Active at Altitude provides 2 FREE custom training plans for each race race in our National Park Half Marathons series, a Beginner Program (16-weeks) and an Intermediate Program (12-weeks).
Programs are available on iPhone or Android or sent by email every 4 weeks.
Pick your dream race below and dive into the training program. With 4-hours allowed for completion, our half marathons are very beginner friendly. (You could walk the whole thing if you needed to.)

Ready to step it up? We've partnered with Olympian Jared Ward to bring you personalized running coaching.
Jared Ward is an American long distance runner. He qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics when he placed 3rd in the marathon at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. He finished 6th at the 2016 Olympics.

We've also partnered with Stephanie Weigel on a structured training program to help you get read for your first 50K (and beyond).
Stephanie is a former Ultra Adventures Ambassador, Certified Trainer, RRCA Running Coach, and USAT Triathlon Coach. She enjoys sharing her passion for trail running, especially with newcomers just discovering the sport, and has been kind enough to create a 4 month training plan geared towards the first time 50K runner.
