Lyle's journey began over 7 years ago. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on his 30th birthday, Lyle was told that in 5–10 years he could be in a wheelchair.
Now 37, Lyle went through a period of depression and felt defeated. In 2010 he was invited by his father-in-law to run his first marathon. Since then he's run 9 marathons and about 43 half marathons. Since then, he has added "triathlon" to his resume having completed 8 – ½ Ironman distance races and 2 full-distance Ironman events (one of them being the Ironman World Championship in 2013 in Kona, HI).
Lyle is thrilled to be a part of Vacation Races and to play an important part in your race day experience!!

Anna likes being the quiet but witty person in the group. She likes working with the creative team to give runners a great experience. In her spare time Anna is either playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, perfecting a new dessert, or working on a craft. She also loves dill pickles. One of her favorite ways to recharge is to take in the desert solitude running the trails of So. Utah.
Cherie has been working with us since our inaugural run in Zion when she worked on the race crew, and now brings the best expos and customer experience to our runners. Cherie may live in Southern Utah but her soul still lives in Southern California where she grew up surfing and sailing in the sun. Her love for the outdoors hasn’t changed. If you don't see her running or biking around the trails or through Zion National Park you can see her planking all over the world.
Kaelee grew up in beautiful Southern Utah with Zion National Park as her backyard, and it's still one of her favorite places to visit - a lot for the views but also for the food. She is our customer service representative and has the answer to all (or most) of your questions so don't hesitate to ask away!

A storyteller by nature, and a very talkative one at that, Katie lives her life ensuring her story is worth telling. After obtaining her journalism degree from the University of Nevada, Reno (Go Wolf Pack!), she was determined to find a career that would allow her to combine her passion for communications and her love for the outdoors. Enter Vacation Races. She started with us in the fall of 2018 and has loved every minute of it! When she is not working, you can find her traveling the world, hiking, paddle boarding, snowshoeing and otherwise exploring the great outdoors with her boyfriend, Erik.
Robin is an Army Brat who recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Communications. She’s a recreational runner and a recent fan of half-marathons.

Curtis loves maps. In fact, you can see maps in his picture behind him. Had he been born in 17th century Britain, he would have been a passionate but middling cartographer. Luckily, he gets to use his love of maps to plan out all sorts of incredible running trips around the world. His awesome wife makes fun of him because he almost enjoys planning vacations as much as he enjoys going on them. When he's not looking at maps to plan a trip, he's cooking food, crashing on his mountain bike, and making dads proud the world over with his terrible jokes.
