What to Expect:
Potential changes you may see at a race during this pandemic.
-EXPO: We will cancel expos at our events when required to do so in order to avoid large gatherings. Other events might have modified or simplified expos (limited vendors or scheduled pickup times). When we have to cancel expos we will offer bib pickup in some other way (i.e drive thru pickup).
-START LINE & STAGGERED STARTS: To comply with group size limits, we may need to have staggered starts and/or a rolling start. Rather than starting a couple thousand runners all at once, we may assign start times or leave the start line open for a few hours in order to avoid large groups and thin out the on course crowds.
-AID STATIONS: In some cases aid stations will be set up to allow social distancing and even have "hands free" foot pedals to allow you to refill hydrapouches or water bottles. We may not have fresh cut oranges and bananas.
-SPECTATORS: At some events, spectators will not be invited to cheer for their runner at the finish line.
-SHUTTLES: When shuttles are necessary we will require all riders to wear face masks, buses will not run at full capacity, etc.
**These are only examples of changes that may be implemented at your event. More specific changes will be communicated on a race by race basis within a month before the event.**
