We’re only 2 weeks away from the 2018 Yosemite Half Marathon!

And tradition dictates that we share some interesting facts about this year’s runners:

  • Most of the top 10 home cities for runners this year are in California including San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Diego, Oakland, Fremont, Bakersfield, and Sacramento
  • Chicago comes in at #4 and Denver at #9
  • Every state in the United States will be present except for North and South Dakota! 😱
  • Some runners will be coming from far away lands like Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Austria, and Australia

If you’re coming from outside California, will this be your first time to Yosemite or is it a favorite stop? What’s your favorite hike? Where’s the best place to grab a bite to eat? We want to hear from you.

Here’s the official 2018 Yosemite Half Marathon Race Guide. Read it carefully. It contains everything you need to know to have an amazing race. Nearly any question you could come up with is answered in the race guide.

P.S. This race is sold out! There’s no waitlist. If you’re in… you’re one of the lucky ones. SO many people reached out to us asking if we could just squeeze them in and unfortunately we just can’t. If you have friends that wanted to come this year but couldn’t make it, be sure to taunt them. Send them really fun pictures from the race. Maybe they’ll learn their lesson and register sooner next year. :)
